Board of Supervisors Candidates

It’s very important to vote in local elections. We expect in 2024 the voter turnout will be higher than in non-presidential election years but we want to remind you how important it is to pay attention to your local candidates. https://harvardpolitics.com/the-importance-of-local-elections/

Are you familiar with the Pima Board Watchers? They are a nonpartisan group of volunteers who are active in several affiliated Pima County groups whose main focus is to hold local government accountable. They send out a timely, biweekly email with key issues and action alerts for the Pima Board of Supervisors agenda so you can be informed about what our elected officials are up to. If you want to subscribe to this newsletter, please email: pimabw@yahoo.com and ask to be added to the email list.

As such, we are so pleased to host our Pima County Board of Supervisors for our March 28 meeting. You can look forward to hearing from candidates Steve Spain (District 1), Beatrice Cory Stephens and John Backer (both for District 2), Janet Wittenbraker (District 3), and the incumbent Steve Christy (District 4).
