Our Real Estate Taxes are due this month and here’s your chance to ask questions about them!  On October 26, at 5:30pm, Pima County Republican Women’s Club will welcome Chris Ackerley, Chief Deputy Treasurer of Pima County AND Candidate for Pima County Treasurer, 2024. Chris will enlighten us about the job of County Treasurer and what it means to be the “bank” for most of the political jurisdictions in Pima County.

After a 22-year career as a high school physics and math teacher, Chris Ackerley was recruited by Pima County Treasurer, Beth Ford, to be her Chief Deputy.  A long-time advocate for public policy in southern Arizona, Chris was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives and served in the 52nd legislature representing part of Pima and Santa Cruz County. This promises to be a very informative meeting!
